Irelda is from Texas. Derrick came from North Carolina via Florida. Lezlie bounced around so often as a child she says it’s hard for her to say where she’s from. Ny’Imah was born and raised right here in Saginaw. While their life experiences have varied greatly, they all share one important commonality - they all dropped out of school when they were teens.
